Opinion and Analysis

Interaction with the populace is still a well handled.  Battles are fluid with the options of melee, ranged and magic all working smoothly.  The resultant experience can then be spent on new moves, skills or spells to further define your character.

But the highlights are the non-violent encounters.  Flirting with the local will increase their love of you, though it could easily anger a nearby spouse of your target as well.

Dropping a fart in sophisticated company is not recommended, but doing similar whilst in a more relaxed setting has differing results.  The range of expressions looks to have been expanded over the previous game, but at this time in my game I only am aware of a fraction of those seemingly on offer.

Spending your hard earned in the many shops or playing the pub games provides further distraction from the main quest storyline, as is simply eavesdropping on local conversations that are always entertaining.

Lionhead look to have more thoroughly realised the originals vision, with this release there is simply more of everything.  More freedom to explore, more to do, more to see, more to buy and more to say, all with an underlying combination of charm, wit and suitable level of mystery.

Then there is the online interaction, co-op play and interaction with friends online.  Yet to be tried out, (due to some release day patching required) but anticpated accordingly.

I cannot wait to get deeper into my character, the plan is to eat all in my path and become the biggest, most bloated and pale hero of all time.  Burp!
