Mobile operators get fixed price spectrum renewal in $3b Government windfall

The Government has offered Australia's three mobile operators, and vividwireless, renewal of their existing spectrum allocated on 15 year licences in the late 90s and early 2000s at set prices, while the Government expects to rake in $3 billion.

Originality – As always Nintendo does pretty good in this area, though in this case they are building purely on the originality already on the market. Assurances from Shigeru Miyamoto and others that the folks back in the Nintendo bunker are “hard at work” on new surprises doesn't add to the score 6/10

Smarts is about how this will help the company moving forward.  I cannot see these announcements alone attracting a larger audience into the Nintendo fold. 4/10

Wow stakes, well, upwards of 60 instruments modelled for Wii Music is impressive, but where is the game?  More accurate control is welcome, we await the exploitation of this by those not making Mario or Zelda titles and then.......   4/10
