Play console games on PC
Okay, okay, so we have been able to do this for sometime with PS2 emulators and the like, but this time around we have something dubbed Trioxide enabling PC loners to whack Xbox 360 and PS3 discs into the DVD drive.
Well it actually, it probably won’t be that simple. Here is the quote.
“
Introducing the ability to play the latest console games (i.e. Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, etc.) on your PC. Many of these games are only available on consoles today and with this new feature would now be available on the PC as well. With this new feature those console games are now playable on your PC!
Uses the same game controllers as the original console system (all games use regular console controllers, not your computer keyboard or mouse.)”
Given that two prices are listed US$49 and US$299 it is suggested that some sort of hardware (Blu-Ray player? Download box?) will be needed.
Guitar Hero 4 to feature touch-sensitive guitar
Guitar Hero 4 will set you back US179.99 with instruments (including drum kit) included. The guitar in particular will include a new touch-sensitive Neck Slide to allow some more inventive shreds.
This will be handy as the GH4 line up looks to include Jimi Hendrix tracks along with The Doors, Foo Fighters, Smashing Pumpkins, Korn, System of a Down, Ozzy Osbourne, Interpol, Muse "and dozens more".
Meanwhile look for a new game called Lips. Along the lines of SingStar with a wireless microphone featuring a lit stand that pulses in rhythm with your vocals.
