They vary between the posts of serious simulation and the whacky arcade types.  Everybody's Golf has always been of the arcade persuasion.  But this time around, as the franchise arrives onto the high definition world of the PS3, EG:WT extends its 'arcade' genre somewhat.

First up, the traditional stroke play is joined by an 'advanced' technique choice.  It is really no more sophisticated than the three button method of the traditional method, but rather than watching a power meter at the bottom of the screen, you must hit the required buttons in relation to the actual players on-screen back swing and then a timing ring.

As normal, timing is crucial, with the consequences of being too off on the connectivity point resulting in extreme wayward shots, including backwards!  Having said that, it is a easy skill to develop and should cause too many problems.sonia_2.jpg

Special power shots and spin can be unlocked later on and add a further layer of strategy and choice  to the solid arcade golf engine behind EG:WT
