Halo 3 in three editions but minus "LIVE Everywhere" capability

Opinion and Analysis

In May last year at the final E3, Microsofts main announcements were Halo 3, and the exciting Xbox Live Everywhere enabling cross platform gaming between Xbox and PC owners, and to a lesser extent moving onto mobile devices.

This May (8th) we look forward to the first toe dipping steps into this linked game play world, were bragging rights will go to the quickest gamepad or mouse.

Shadowrun is an exciting prospect, set in a cyberpunk action packed world, this game will be the foreshadow of cross platform game-play that Microsoft promised at the E3 announcement.

Whilst playing games such as Shadowrun and Uno between PC and Xbox 360 will be fun, but the real meat and potatoes won't happen until we get titles like Halo played cross platform.

Until a version of Halo 3 is announced, or some magical backwards-compatible updates to Halo 2 for Xbox 360 are forthcoming, we are left without a true blockbuster to decide the Question.

The Question?  Well, the rather inane questions of, which are better players, pure Console Masters or Keyboard/Mouse jockeys?  Don't hold your breath, but all will be revealed in the fullness of time.
