Telstra has revealed the addition of almost one million new mobile services in the six months to December 2011, but Sensis revenues plummeted 24 percent in 12 months.
Take Two have made the announcement that all video homeboys and conservative moral crusaders have been waiting for; the release date for the next in Grand Theft Auto series by Rockstar.
During a conference call around Take Two’s financial position, the company announced the release date for Grand Theft Auto IV by Rockstar.
Look for the game in October 2008 on PS3 and Xbox 360. No talk about the rumoured Wii version at this point. There was however confirmation of a plan to release episodic content for the GTA series in parallel with the game. This content will be specific to the platform the game runs on, meaning a totally different experience on each console.
A new GTA for Take Two may be what is needed to boost profits with the company reporting a total 2006 loss of US$185 Million. Sales where down in Q4 from US$306 million to just on US$266 million. The company attributed this to the transition of console generations.
