Telstra has revealed the addition of almost one million new mobile services in the six months to December 2011, but Sensis revenues plummeted 24 percent in 12 months.
The fourth stage Linux user is unrecognisable from what he was at stage one. This is an individual who is not bothered about what other people use as an operating system. He is deeply interested in the internals of Linux.
Everything and anything which he can do using Linux - including security for his home - is done that way. He is a command-line enthusiast and knows the power therein.
To this man, those who shout out loud about the virtues of Linux are a necessary evil. They are an embarrassment to him but he recognises that he once went through this stage himself.
He is not inclined to mix much with those who use Linux, he is not the social kind. His contribution comes through mailing lists and often through becoming a part of some software project or the other.
To this man, the number of Linux users is of no importance. It doesn't matter if only he and the people who work on his distribution of choice use that distribution.
He has reached the stage of Linux nirvana.
