Telstra has revealed the addition of almost one million new mobile services in the six months to December 2011, but Sensis revenues plummeted 24 percent in 12 months.

Kingston has also joined the fray, bringing more competition into the
market, something that is sure to see prices go down even faster!
Ah, memory cards, how large their capacities have become from the early days of mere megabytes, and how far they still have to go to catch up to their terabyte hard disk cousins.
With flash memory competitor Pretec announcing its first 32GB SDXC card, Kingston has followed this up with the much more immediately practical announcement of a 16GB microSDHC card, designed for use in any SDHC capable device (thanks to the inclusion of a microSDHC to SDHC adapter).
As you can imagine, the 16GB card joins 8GB and 4GB microSDHC cards already on the market, with Kingston setting the recommended retail price at AUD $119, something that will surely end up much cheaper on the street.
microSDHC cards are most often used in today’s smartphones and selected mp3 players, and enable phones to store gigabytes of music, videos and other files.
Vaughan Nankivell, Regional Manager- Australia and New Zealand for Kingston Technology said that: “The increased functionality of the latest mobile phones has helped fuel and raise consumers’ appetites for more digital content.
“Today’s mobile lifestyle includes using phones as portable media players and as a camera. The Kingston16GB microSDHC card removes the barrier of limited internal handset or device memory and allows users to store more photos, songs, games and videos.”
So just how much can a 16GB card store? Kingston says it’ll store approximately 3000 songs, more than 8000 cameraphone photos at 5 megapixels or "up to" 16 hours of video.
Clearly these figures relate to only those content types on each card, do some mixing and matching (as the card will store any type of data) and the amounts will change.
