Telstra has revealed the addition of almost one million new mobile services in the six months to December 2011, but Sensis revenues plummeted 24 percent in 12 months.
“It’s a huge brand in its home market, with around 89% of Americans nominating Memorex as their top of mind brand for recordable media in recent surveys, which is not surprising as Memorex has held the number one position in recordable CD and DVD markets in the US for several years.
“Having successfully launched into the consumer electronics category in the US in the past year, Memorex is now looking to expand its range into new markets in Australia and throughout Europe.
“The products are innovative, very inspirational, affordably priced and eye catching, targeting contemporary female consumers but on the whole being universally appealing to all age groups and genders,” concluded the Quarmbster.
Given that sex sells, I wonder if we’ll see any moves to sexily brand Memorex with hot babes and cool dudes like we’re seeing in the latest ads from TDK?
I guess we’ll soon see, but if the price is right, and the quality is tight, consumers will be the beneficiaries of the Memorex express!
