The news comes alongside fresh clues that Apple's iMac line will soon be updated.AppleInsider has noted that various US resellers - including Amazon - have no supplies of the 3.06GHz iMac, and lead times have stretched for delivery from the Apple Store.
The US Apple Store currently quotes shipping in 2-4 days, while Australian customers are given an estimated shipping time of three business days. Other configurations ship within 24 hours.
A late March debut for new Mac hardware has been rumoured.
The tip is that this will include new iMac and possibly Mac mini configurations.
