According to Apple's brief description, the update also "addresses issues related to specific cameras and overall stability," so it may be worth installing even if you don't have one of the newly supported cameras.
But don't begin installing it if you're in a hurry: the updater requires a restart.
Digital Camera Raw Compatibility Update 2.3 is available via Software Update or Apple Downloads.
