Presumably the address lists that are really valuable are those that have actually replied to spam.

Anyway, when Arrington wrote "Apple, however, has created a dead simple way for spammers to easily spider their idisk property to retrieve the entire MobileMe user name list... Gathering the entire MobileMe username list, and therefore email list, via a simple dictionary attack is trivial" he was at the very least guilty of hyperbole. I'd find it hard to argue with anyone who accused him of trolling, even if his underlying point was basically true.
