Apple has announced that it will open its second Sydney store in Chatswood on August 9 but to date there is still no word on when Melbourne and the other major capitals will get a store.
Apple Store Chatswood is located within the Chatswood Chase shopping centre on Victoria Avenue. The first customers will be let into the new store at 9 am on Saturday, August 9.
The new store will include the usual features including the Genius Bar for individual support, and workshops and one-on-one training sessions.
It is located close to the Victoria Street entrance to the shopping centre.
Less than 200m from Chatswood Chase along Victoria Avenue is Maccentric Chatswood, an Apple premium reseller.
But this is the second Apple Store to open in Sydney, while Apple fans around the country are crying out for some Cupertino-style retail therapy.
The announcement of the Chatswood store provides additional confirmation that a currently empty unit at the Chadstone (Victoria) shopping centre will be occupied by Apple, as the livery on the false walls surrounding the Chatswood Store match those at Chadstone.
