ABC's iView streams TV shows across the net for free

The Arts channel features a variety of shows including At The Movies (with the ever-popular Margaret Pomeranz and David Stratton), Sunday Arts, and First Tuesday Book Club.

The sixth 'channel' is a bit of a misnomer, as it delivers ads for - sorry, previews of - DVDs available from ABC Shops.

Unfortunately, none of this means that rightsholders are getting any more sensible about the Internet - the ABC's iView service is restricted to Australian visitors, just as the main TV sites in the US and UK are limited to people in those countries. But it's nice for the boot to be on the other foot for a change.
