.tk is the country code for Tokelau, a small group of South Pacific islands, and does not have the best reputation as it has been heavily used in the past by spammers and other shady operators. In those circumstances, we're not about to email Open Tech's PR contact.

Open Tech doesn't specify the currency in which its prices are displayed, but Tokelau uses the New Zealand dollar, which is currently worth approximately $US0.76/$A0.78.

So we're left wondering if Open Tech is serious, or if this is all just a prank capitalising on the media attention given to Psystar.

We'll be watching with interest the unfolding legal drama for Psystar and Apple, and waiting to see if more Mac cloners appear on the scene.
