Opinion and Analysis

But more generally, if you've downloaded and watched a movie, what's the point of buying the DVD? Additional scenes? Maybe, but when I watch the deleted scenes on a DVD I almost always agree with the decision to drop them from the movie! (One exception was Ocean's 13 - it struck me that the retention of a certain scene would have helped the flow of the story without telegraphing the resolution.) A director's commentary? Perhaps, but who listens to those unless they're seriously geeky or serious students of the medium?

I like to see free (including ad-supported) content, so from that perspective - and regardless of the political aspects - I hope it works out for the producers of Leading To War, and that other independent film makers success can mirror that success.
