ImageWell has long been my preferred tool for shrinking pictures before transferring them to a web site or my mobile phone, though it is capable of more than that. Previous versions have been free, with an optional payment to enable the use of additional features (Xtras), but version 3.5 costs $CDN19.95 after a seven-day trial. It includes the Xtras, and adds a sharpness feature along with some other minor changes and bug fixes.
