An update for Elgato's popular EyeTV TV tuner application includes support for the TerraTec Cinergy Hybrid T XS FM device, compatibility with EPG data obtained via xmltv, and a list of bug fixes.

Another change is that Smart Guides can be restricted to certain days of the week.

Something I don't like is that it's no longer possible to download and keep the installer, which can be useful if you subsequently need to revert to an earlier release. Instead, the 3.0.1 update is downloaded and installed by the main EyeTV application. This also means you'll need to download the Read Me file separately.
