David Swan is a journalism student with over 900 Facebook friends, most of whom he knows personally.
From the age of 14 David completed weekly game reviews for mobile phone gaming website Midlet Review, in between homework sessions and continual household chores.
Since then, he has worked as a roving reporter for YouthCentral, as long as being a telemarketer, a party bus host, a personal assistant, and being paid to walk around in a chicken suit. Not all at the same time.
More recently, David has written for FasterLouder, interviewing Grammy winning rock bands (and talentless local acts), but dedicates much time to iTWire which is far less glamorous but much more intelectually rewarding.
In his spare time, David enjoys debating, although he limits this to real-life as online debates are a "complete joke". He also enjoys the occasional video game, even if it is 'work.' He decided on journalism for the fast cars and beautiful women, so if anyone has any details of their whereabouts can you please forward them to his email address at David Swan
