An Australian based Financial Services Software Vendor, located in the heart of the Sydney CBD, is looking for finance savvy Developers to join their boutique operation. The company has received industry recognition for its dynamic growth and innovative applications. Its software specialises in providing a business solution suite that closely monitors the performance of key finance systems and products for leading financial service ⁄major blue chip organisations.

Working as part of a specialist development team you will be responsible for the ongoing evolutionary development of the core software suite, whilst contributing to additional, user driven, modules to add to the products robustness, flexibility and accuracy. You will also integrate with business systems analysts to evaluate client needs and then design, develop and integrate modifications for successful client on-boarding and ongoing support needs. 

The company is focused on solving Financial Markets ⁄ Treasury problems, and utilising existing software packages, management reporting tools and IT infrastructure in large organisation's. So the code has been developed to integrate with windows based systems and predominantly written in VB6 with the organisation now moving towards future development in C#.Net.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of Finance or Financial Instruments
• Knowledge of Treasury Management, Hedge Accounting or ALM
• 4 Yrs + Development in VB6 ⁄ C#.Net
• Strong Understanding  of Microsoft GUI development
• Experience Designing ⁄ Developing Database driven solutions.
• Experience in the full SDLC
• Passion for solving complex problems analytically.
• Strong numeracy skills
