High profile, market leading financial services organisation seeks an experienced business facing support analyst for their FX Options business. This role is working in a large market specific support team that provides both technical and business support for the unique applications that enable key business users. 

As the key face to the Australian business you will take ownership of all Foreign Exchange ⁄ Currency issues and utilise your own knowledge and local technical support analysts ⁄ SME's to provide 2nd ⁄ 3rd level support, develop minor enhancements and overall trouble shooting for trading applications. As you regularly interact with all levels of the business both locally and globally you will need with excellent communication skills to demonstrate clearly your understanding of Foreign Exchange Options and the entry to settlement deal process.

The primary function is customer service and ability to manage ⁄ delegate technical workloads, for both BAU support activities as well as ad-hoc enhancements to current systems. The user base is a mix of traders, sales, quants, risk management, accounts, PMs, BAs and key business heads, which will lead you to develop relationship with many key based business groups around the globe.

Skills required include:

• 3 Years+ Working with In Foreign Exchange
• 3yrs+ experience in Business ⁄ Technical Support
• Business Acumen around execution of FX Options Trades 
• Good understanding of the SDLC
• Programming Understanding in SQL, VB6, C++
• Knowledge of Finance Products (included Derivatives)
• Excellent Customer Services Skills
• Exposure to Market Data Systems 
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills

This role is working in a highly visible, business critical team that has a global scope so it will require additional on-call  responsibilities and some weekend work for specific deployments.
