Our leading Financial Services client is embarking on a number of strategic development initiatives that require the services of a number of experienced Java J2EE Developers across various parts of the technology team.

The roles represent a mix of project and BAU activities with the opportunity to play to your particular strengths. We are seeking experienced developers who are able to actively contribute to a number of multi million dollar programs of work that will directly influence the productivity and delivery capability of the business.

Your technical experience should include:

• Strong Java programming skills
• Hibernate
• Spring
• XML Handling
• Eclipse
• Subversion
• JUnit

With at least one of the following:

• Swing ⁄ Netbeans or any other form of Desktop Java
• RIA technology ( Specifically Ext-JS) alternatively, very strong Javascript skills
• Drools or a RETE based rules engine
• Experience with ILOG (desirable)

Non technical skills required include:

• Excellent problem solving ability
• Strong team player attributes
• Commitment to development and testing standards
• Previous experience in a Financial Services organisation highly regarded

Previous experience in the Financial Services sector from all areas including Banking, Trading, Insurance, Superannuation, Asset Management, Corporate Finance etc.
