Are you an experience Market Data Support Engineer with strong IRESS skills?

Or are you an experienced Support Analyst with an interest in the trading space?

Our client is a leading Investment Banking, Securities and Investment Management firm who are experiencing growth in their Market Data division and subsequently require an experienced Market Data Support Engineer.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Market Data Infrastructure, with experience of supporting and managing a range of Market Data applications, with a focus IRESS suite. Additional experience with Bloomberg and Reuters will of course be of benefit.

In the absence of this experience you will be an experienced Support Analyst with a strong interest in the trading space and an understanding of trading flows, products and the pressure associated with such a trading environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Daily System Administration, Support and Configuration of Market Data applications including IRESS, Bloomberg and Reuters.
• Conducting regular health checks of such systems to ensure minimal disruption to the trading day
• Contributing to regular team meetings on the status and health of the systems, sharing knowledge and information

Required Technical and non technical experience includes:

• Knowledge of IRESS, Bloomberg and Reuters (ideally)
• Advanced knowledge of Excel with VBA development experience highly desirable
• Previous experience of supporting high profile users (ideally in a Trading ⁄ Financial Services environment)
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong customer ⁄ user focus with high attention to detail
• Ability to work in a pressurised environment
