This leading Global Investment Bank are growing their capability in the area of Algorithmic trading and subsequently require an experienced C++ developer to join their Sydney team, part of a larger Asia Pacific team.

With strong UNIX (Linux ideally) and Oracle skills you will be able to demonstrate your experience of designing reliable, scalable real-time applications in a distributed environment.  Ideally this experience will have been gained in the Financial Services sector - however, we are able to take applications from candidates with experience outside of this sector.

Technical skills required include:

• Strong C++ design and development experience
• Strong UNIX skills, scripting experience
• Relational Database experience, Ideally Oracle
• Experience with C++ Compilers, GNU ⁄ Intel

You will also be:

• A strong team player also able to work independently
• Have strong communication skills
• Be a problem owner and solver
• Enjoy providing solutions to complex technical issues
