This important Analyst role will provide reporting and analytical services to support Rio Tinto Iron Ore (RTIO) objectives for improvement in equipment and Asset Management (AM) process performance.

Key responsibilities of the role include,

• Supporting the delivery and continuous improvement of RTIO Asset Performance Reporting systems.
• Liaising with Clients and the shared services helpdesk to provide continuous feedback to clients on status of issues raised.
• Maintaining RTIO status reports on AM performance loss / opportunity focus areas
• Performing analysis as directed in areas of focus for AM
• Training of operations AM personnel
• Analytical projects to assist in developing options for new strategic direction in operational AM delivery
• Develop high level reports and presentations
• Audit and reinforce AM system data integrity

You will be proficient in Information Management with operational experience in a processing / mining environment. A background in systems and databases with knowledge of SQL and the ability to develop short reports will be essential. Being adaptable to various communication forms and having a strong customer focus will be the key to your success in this role. Previous experience with Citect, Babel fish, Ampla and PI will be advantageous.
