As the new Sydney Practice lead for MS BI you will have come from a solid consulting background and have had considerable Microsoft Data Warehousing design and development experience, ideally this will have been within the finance sector, dealing finance teams, systems accountants and cio's/cfo's.'
Your solid skills with Microsoft Business Intelligence toolset must include architecture, design, development and implementation of:
Database components in Microsoft SQL Server environments
ETL components using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
Reporting components using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
Analysis Services components in a Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)
Creation and updating of technical documentation, and preparing functional tests is highly desirable.
Experience in the design and development of Microsoft based solutions with the following technology skill set is desirable but not essential:
SQL Server 2005 -2008
Cognos
Performance point/ MOSS 2007
Highly consultative and friendly professional, can do attitude
Ability to work within a consulting environment
Strong client interaction and relationship management skills
