This financial institution is looking for an IT Solutions Consultant to operate within their internal business solutions team. They are looking for IT professionals to build relationships across IT and Business and to act as a high level advisor to the business for proposed new technology solutions, ensuring these possible solutions could deliver real value.

Working ONLY in the Concept and Strategy phase, you will develop high level solution designs including impact analysis and costing to assist the business to make early IT decisions. You will need to have excellent relationship management skills and be able to identify and influence key stakeholders, whilst researching new emerging technologies.You will have the confidence to present your results to Senior Management whilst keeping it aligned to the current architecture and future road map of this business.

To succeed in this unique role you will need a background working for a Consultancy and/or within the Financial sector and now want to work in a balanced work environment. You will need knowledge of banking ideally Retail Banking and be Very IT savvy across a variety of different technologies. You may have also had a background in IT Strategy or IT Knowledge Management roles. This is not a delivery focused project role and will only suit those who can work at the concept level AND be customer focused.
