Lead Risk Advisor

Reporting to a Technology Risk Partner you will be responsible for all aspects of Risk Management. The key focus of the role is to oversee the undertaking of technical risk assessment/s to ensure that the Technology Risk is minimised.
This role is responsible for:

Operating as a business aligned risk function to support the Group Agenda; and

The delivery of risk advice on technology risk to assist managers in achieving their business objectives.

Providing technology related subject matter expertise to risk, compliance and audit related matters

Ensuring risks are identified, managed and considered in decisions, within risk appetite.

Provide oversight and assurance on the management of risk and levels of compliance. To be considered candidates must be able to demonstrate the following key skills and experience: Mandatory:

Appropriate tertiary qualifications in information technology or risk

Significant knowledge and experience working in Technology (7 years plus).

Significant operational risk disciplines and experience

Strong leadership skills and proven ability to negotiate with and influence Business leaders and senior management.

Track record in producing results and defining pro-active solutions in an efficient and timely manner.
Preferred:

Knowledge of Banking and Finance industry
