The MESSENGER probe is nearing the end of its mission around Mercury Mars, but before it does end NASA wants the public to enter a contest to name five craters on the surface of Mercury.
 
UPDATE: On Friday, December 19, 2014, SpaceX will send its Dragon capsule to the International Space Station, but at the same time will try to guide its rocket to a soft landing on a floating ocean platform. This will be a first -- if successful!
