Cloud and virtualisation provider Parallels has appointed David Dzienciol to the role of regional vice president and general manager, sales for Asia Pacific.

“David Dzienciol's track record of driving business growth helped establish Symantec as a leading provider of security and makes him a great fit for Parallels," said Jim Herman, senior vice president of worldwide sales. "Dzienciol will build upon his proven experience to fuel continued growth of Parallels to benefit our customers and increase market share."

Mr Dzienciol previously worked for Symantec as vice president of channel and small and medium businesses for Asia Pacific and Japan.

His predecessor at Parallels, Jan-Jaap Jager, has been promoted to the new role of vice president of strategic account sales for the Americas.
