New guide to Australian Telecommunications Regulation

IT Policy - Regulation

The fourth edition of the Communications Law Centre's guide to Australian Telecommunications Regulation has been published, and at more than 600 pages is almost double the size of the previous edition, published in 2004.

The editor of the previous three editions, Alasdair Grant - now principal of Asia-focussed communications strategy advisor AC Grant & Associates - was joined by co-editor David Howarth, a competition and consumer policy consultant who has worked for the ACCC, Choice and the Attorney General's Department to produce the updated version, which contains contributions from a number of senior Australian and overseas industry figures.

The growth in the publication - which is now divided into three sections - is largely the result of the addition of a new section on overseas regimes.

The fourth edition of Australian Telecommunications Regulation is published for the CLC by CCH Australia. It can be ordered, price $69.95 including GST, by calling 1300 300 224.
