Major credit card companies have bowed to US government pressure to block payments to Wikileaks, but they are perfectly happy to accept donations to the modern incarnation of the Ku Klux Klan.
The main web site of the KKK, which now calls itself 'The Knights Party' is
http://kkk.bz/. It makes no attempt to hide is origins, boasting that "The Knights of the Ku Klux Klan was founded in Louisiana in 1956," and linking its heritage back to the original KKK.
However while the site is strongly pro white and pro Christian it carefully avoids any overtly racist statements. Racial discrimination is couched in the terms of freedom of choice; "People should be allowed to hire who they want, live where they want and practice the Christian faith as they please. Likewise people should be able to sell to whom they want, rent to whom they want and socialise and conduct business with who they want. The government should not interfere with the everyday lives of white Christian Americans."
And for non-white and non-Christian, non-Americans? "We support the voluntary repatriation of everyone not satisfied with living under White Christian rules of conduct back to the native lands of their people." It is silent on the future of non-white, non-Christian Americans in the world it seeks to create.
The Knights Party does not seem comfortable accepting donations directly. Its legal business name is "Christian Concepts." Visa, Mastercard and Amex are more than happy to send your money to Christian Concepts. And, as The Knights Party web site re-assures potential donors, "The charge on your credit card statement will say Christian Concepts."
