F5 Networks appoints regional channel training organisation

IT People - Training

F5 Networks, a company specialising in application delivery networking, has appointed its first authorised training centre for channel partners and end users in Asia Pacific.

Red Education Pty Ltd, a newly-formed, independent company based in Sydney and dedicated to F5 training, will offer a range of courses for training and certifying engineers on F5 products and services to be offered through F5 distributors and resellers throughout Asia Pacific.

Red Education will send its trainers around the region to conduct the courses, which, F5 says, can be tailored to the needs of individual customers or partners.

Daniel Storey, Red Education's principal, was previously a senior network consultant at F5 and has been providing ad hoc training on F5 products over the past few years. "The F5 business has grown so rapidly in recent years that there is a constant demand for training from end users, integrators and channel partners," Storey said.

F5 provides solutions "that make applications secure, fast, and available for everyone... By adding intelligence and manageability into the network to offload applications, F5 optimises applications and allows them to work faster and consume fewer resources."
