IT People - Recruitment

Finite IT Recruitment Solutions has posted strong results for the period July – December 2006. Group Turnover (including subsidiary FinXL IT Professional Services) for six months to December 06 increased to $73 million (35%up from $54 million for the same period in 2005).

Contracting / Consultancy revenues grew at 34%; Permanent revenues (including executive recruitment) grew at 55%.

Commenting on the performance, Finite’s Managing Director, Tracy Thomson, said: “Finite is well positioned to continue to fully service the Australian (and increasingly the Asia Pacific) IT sectors through its “IT only” focus.  Bearing in mind that our growth is purely organic and not through acquisition, we continue to attract additional new key client accounts that have created an additional eight new full time positions within the last two months alone.

"We forecast that revenues will continue to grow on the back of the continuing buoyancy of the Australian and global IT sectors. There is continued strong demand for contracting and consultancy services, particularly within the Telco, Government and Financial Services sectors, and the demand for IT permanent and executive recruitment services is also accelerating, particularly within the Vendor and Financial Services sectors”.
