Specialising in recruitment and contracting for Engineering and Information Technology personnel, the value in Resources 6 lays in its high profile preferred supplier list, which includes Alphawest, The WA Government and the Water Corporation.
"Resources 6 is a small recruiter
with about 70 contractors," said Mr Acheson. "The majority of the business
is in Perth - we're already number one in Perth. This puts a gap between
us and number two. Alphawest divested itself of Resources 6 because it
isn't core business.
"Our acquisition of Resources 6 will further strengthen our position in the Perth marketplace and grow our revenue towards our long-term growth targets."
"The
acquisition will also enable a range of benefits to be realised by
existing Resources 6 clients and contractors through increased access
to a larger recruitment infrastructure, leading edge technology and
innovative human management products available through Ambit
Recruitment," said Mr Acheson.
