Contractor management company, Entity Solutions, has secured an On-Hire Labour agreement with the federal government approving the company to act as an official sponsor for ‘on-hire’ employment of overseas workers in industry sectors including ICT, engineering and telecommunications.

Under the terms of the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) authorised On-Hire Labour Agreement,  effective immediately, Entity Solutions is able to nominate a number of placements in the management, finance, ICT, engineering, and telecommunications fields.

Entity Solutions CEO, Matthew Franceschini, said that at a time when Australia was facing the challenges of meeting demand in the booming resources sector and major ICT and telecommunications projects,” the ability to engage and on-hire skilled workers plays a crucial role in meeting the ongoing skill demands of the economy.”

“The benefits undoubtedly suit both Australian businesses by providing access to expertise only available overseas and to skilled workers who are increasingly prepared to seek out the best opportunities in the global employment market.”

Franceschini said that through its in-house team of Registered Migration Agents (RMAs), Entity Solutions would take care of all sponsorship, administration and compliance obligations, leaving the company’s customers to focus on core business without the complications associated with the engagement of skilled overseas contract workers.

“In order to take advantage of the On-Hire Labour Agreement positions available, candidates must meet specified criteria relating to occupation, skills, salary and contract terms. Entity Solutions will construct a package for each individual that includes salary, leave, tax, insurances and costs and they are able to combine this with contractor management and managed payroll services.

“Our customers are often looking for a quick solution to enable them to engage skilled contract workers from overseas that are critical to the success of key business projects. Through our On-Hire Labour Agreement we will be able expedite the process and look after not only the complex process of securing their long-term work visas but also manage the ongoing employment obligations. It provides a streamlined option for organisations that do not have the need or desire to become a standard business sponsor under the 457 visa program.”
