Technology recruiter, Finite IT, seems to be shaking off the economic downturn which has hit Australia’s jobs recruitment market, with expansion of its business into the Western Australian market.
Finite managing director, Tracy Thomson, today
announced the opening of a new office in Perth saying that she is
confident the WA market offers “new long term business opportunities”
for the company.
“Although the hiring market is definitely subdued, we believe this is a
great time to source an experienced local team and to start marketing
our capabilities.” says Thomson, claiming that the firm is “fortunate
to already have some large national preferred supplier clients with
Perth based operations, and this should position Finite well when
things pick up again.”
Finite is going after marketshare in WA, with Thomson announcing the
appointment of business development executive, Lindsay Braganza, to
head up its new marketing drive in the state.
Thomson says Braganza, a “highly regarded senior IT recruiter with many
years of local WA and international experience who has spent five years
working in the UK market and, more recently, within the Perth IT market.
