Looking for a great place to work? Ask Finite!

IT People - Recruitment

If you’re out in the market looking for a job in the IT industry and you want a great place to work in you probably should have a chat to Finite IT, because, I suspect they’ll have a pretty good idea of what does make an organisation a good place to work.

The IT recruitment firm has just been confirmed by business magazine, BRW, as both a “great place to work” and as one of Australia’s “50 best companies to work for in 2009”.

Finite was ranked by BRW as the18th top Australian employer and was the only recruitment company to be featured in the top 50, which its founder and managing director, Tracy Thomson, says is testament to the fact that the company has always placed “great emphasis on providing an attractive and friendly workplace environment with good career and professional development opportunities.”

“These accolades are a fantastic testimony to the hard work and determination of the national management and support team that have worked so hard over many years to make Finite what it is today.  We have always believed that it is essential to have a happy and motivated team in place to provide exceptional recruitment delivery service with real passion and pride, to our many highly valued clients.”

The inaugural BRW list of the best companies to work for in Australia reportedly attracted more entries than expected, with the list of the Best places to work in a special edition of the magazine published today.

Today’s edition of BRW highlights Australia's premier places of employment including a snapshot of why each company made the list, with companies ranked as the top 50 workplaces, based on research undertaken by the Great Place to Work Institute.

Thompson says Finite has developed a broad range of programs over several years to achieve what she describes as the “employer of choice” result, including incentives, social events, training, team building and career development opportunities.
