Finite IT Recruitment MD named Entrepreneur of Year finalist

Tracy Thomson, founding MD of one of Australia's largest technology recruiters Finite IT Recruitment Solutions, has been named a regional finalist in the 2007 Entrepreneur Of The Year awards.

Ms Thomson set up Finite from scratch in December 1998 establishing a new boutique recruitment agency in Sydney’s CBD specialising within the IT Financial Services sector.
 
Finite has grown to the point where it now trades under three distinct brands: Finite IT Recruitment Solutions; FinXEC IT Executive Recruitment; and FinXL IT Professional Services; with Group revenues exceeding $160M for FYE 06/07, up by 50% on the previous year’s performance.

Ms Thomson will join her fellow finalists representing the Eastern States (NSW & ACT) at the regional awards ceremony on Thursday 16 August at the Four Seasons, Sydney, where the names of those progressing to the national competition will be announced.  Finite appears to be the only recruiter represented amongst this year’s finalists.
