Macquarie Telecom's co-founder named MD of hosting business

Aidan Tudehope, joint founder and director of Macquarie Telecom has been appointed managing director of the company's hosting business - Macquarie Hosting.

Since formation of the company, in 1992, he has been its chief operating officer and has been responsible for the development of the company's billing solutions, operating systems and most recently its carrier grade data network.

According to Tudehope, "During the past twelve months Macquarie Hosting has grown at twice the rate of the local complex managed hosting industry. The convergence of mobile data, voice to VoIP and the boom in online content and services have boosted the demand for scaleable secure complex managed hosting."

The previous head of Macquarie Hosting Greg Thomson has been appointed to the newly created position of commercial director, Macquarie Telecom.
