Senior sales executives join Mainpac

Mainpac has made two senior appointments at its Sydney head office to support sales of Mainet Enterprise, its .NET-based enterprise asset management software package. Barry Brooks has been appointed senior sales executive with responsibility for the utility industry. Brooks is a senior consultant who has been responsible for providing business development, project management, data mining and OLAP services and technical consulting in multi-value database environments. Beginning his IT career in the UK, he moved to Australia in the early 1970s and was involved with selling data entry and minicomputer systems. Ian Young has been appointed to the newly created position of business development manager.  He has worked for Australian and international IT organisations in a variety of sales and sales management positions with accountability for Asian, Australasian and European operations. Past employers include Genasys, CSSL, Formida, MapInfo, Aspect Communications and Alcatel.
