Optus has appointed a former Network Ten communications professional as Senior Corporate Affairs manager.

SingTel Optus Head of Government Affairs, Clare Gill, announced the appointed of Gabrielle Crittenden to the role, replacing Liz Greene who has been transferred internally at the company.

Gill said Crittenden had worked for Network Ten in corporate communications and also worked in financial services and many years in state government where she established a “strong public policy” background.

Crittenden will look after corporate-related matters at Optus, including financial results and CSR.

Gill also announced the appointment of Clare Wong as Media Relations Manager, looking after consumer product and service-related matters.

Wong, who previously worked for Sony, Amaysim and, most recently, with Hotels.com, replaces Jacquie Christie, who has left Optus.
