Australian technology consulting company, IQ Group, has appointed Steve Zacharidis as Sales Executive for its Consulting and Solutions Division, responsible for business development principally in the wealth management, superannuation and life insurance markets.

IQ Group CEO, Graham Sammells, said Zacharidis appointment would help the company to build on its reputation in the superannuation sector and provided “greater depth in the Life Insurance and Wealth Management marketplace.”

Sammells said Zacharidis responsibilities included developing sales opportunities for key new accounts across Consulting and Solutions, as well as further leveraging established connections in the Life Insurance and Super sectors.

Zacharidis joins IQ Group from recent roles with CSC, Infocomp - now part of GBST Holdings - and Bravura.

"Steve has a real understanding of what we do with his background within the industry. This includes his initial role as a business analyst at Axa to his most recent and highly successful positions in the financial services technology arena," Sammells said.

"We have identified a range of organisations that we believe will benefit from the deep industry experience we offer at IQ Group and are looking forward to Steve extending our reach to this expanded audience."

IQ Group recently continued its investment in its Australian operations with the appointment of Ron Mullins as Principal Consultant in its Brisbane office.
