Systems integrator, BTAS, has appointed an 18-year industry sales veteran as its new sales manager for its southern region encompassing Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania.

BTAS CEO, Mr Gavin Jones, announced the appointment of Dean Kelly as Southern Region Sales Manager, based in Melbourne.

Jones said BTAS was continuing to expand its operations, building on recent high profile successes in the market and, as part of the company’s plans for growth, had  identified the need to strengthen its sales management presence in the southern region of the country.

“Business throughout Australia – both private and public – is challenged by the need to provide sophisticated communications within a cost-conscious environment.  Dean’s appointment will assist us to help answer those challenges with a comprehensive range of products and services that ensures optimum return on ICT dollars invested.

Kelly joins BTAS from NEC Australia where he was Regional Manager - Federal Government and ACT.

He previously worked for Telstra Corporation covering the ACT and Federal Government, New South Wales and Queensland and as General Manager at Alphawest covering Federal Government and ACT, and in national roles specialising in the southern region of Australia.
