Voice and data communications provider MyNetFone has appointed two business development managers to help with its expansion into the enterprise and government markets.

Tony Poulson has been appointed Tasmanian business development manager, and will be responsible for building on the company's VoIP project for the Tasmanian Government by finding new business customers across the state.

He joins MyNetFone from Total Communications where he was state sales manager.

Mr Poulson previously held various senior roles at Telstra and Macquarie Telecom.

Amanjit Sahota has been appointed MyNetFone's enterprise business development manager.

In addition to developing new enterprise and government opportunities around the country, he will also be responsible for expanding MyNetFone's channel partnerships in the corporate market.

Mr Sahota was previously enterprise business development manager at Network Brokers.

He previously also worked for Cubic Resources, Kajaro and Logitek.

Rene Sugo, CEO of MyNetFone Group commented on the appointments:

“The enterprise and government market represents a huge opportunity for new-generation telcos, with a large scope and higher revenues to be gained. MyNetFone is focused on proactively addressing this opportunity, and has strategically developed and implemented a growth path, which includes the expansion of the Enterprise & Government Team.”

"Tony is a very passionate Tasmanian, and we're excited to announce our on-the-ground presence in the state with his appointment. Having worked extensively with local businesses and government bodies, he will help large organisations to develop communications solutions that meet their specific needs," said CEO Rene Sugo.

"We're equally excited about Amanjit joining us in our Sydney office. With his extensive industry contacts, he will drive our expansion in the enterprise and government market across Australia, working closely together with strategic partners and customers," Mr Sugo added.
