Enterprise mobility specialist Good Technology has appointed Nicholas Harris as leader of its professional services and engineering practices in the Asia Pacific region.

"Nick is a great addition to our fast-growing team here in Australia," said vice president and corporate general manager Jim Watson.

"The provision of technical expertise to enable our customers to successfully deploy and manage Good's range of secure enterprise mobility solutions with a minimum of disruption to their business is absolutely essential."

Mr Harris was formerly the services sales manager at VMware Australia.

He previously served as a solutions architect at Fujitsu Australia, KAZ and Volante Group.

Mr Harris has fourteen years experience in the technology industry and holds more than a dozen certifications from Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, OGC ITIL, and OGC Prince2, among others.

"As head of Solution Engineering, my role will be to work alongside our customers to help deploy Good’s solutions to deliver the desired business outcome," he said.

"In most cases, this is mainly about ensuring that corporate data and applications are accessible by the right people, in a totally secure fashion, on the mobile device of the their choice."
