New Zealand-based dedicated Microsoft solutions provider, Intergen, has appointed a new chief of its Australian operation, with 20-year industry veteran, Michael Morgan made Country Manager for Australia.

Morgan, who most recently was Executive General Manager for consulting technology firm, Oakton, was responsible for the leadership and management of the company’s NSW business comprising over 300 employees.

He also worked at specialist data and systems integration company, Data Agility, and also specialised in business and technical consulting at Optus.

Morgan said he saw particularly strong opportunities in the Microsoft Dynamics ERP and CRM space, spearheading numerous opportunities for Intergen “right across the Microsoft stack.”

Morgan will report directly to Intergen Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Tony Stewart, and work closely with the company’s leadership and global services team to develop and drive the execution of Intergen’s business strategy in Australia.

Stewart said that since Intergen had set foot in Australia almost two years ago, the company had grown rapidly from two to almost 30 employees in Sydney and Perth.
