F5 Networks has appointed Mohan Veloo as senior director of the company's field system engineering teams in Asia Pacific and Japan.

“Mohan joins F5 with extensive experience in leading and managing technical and consulting teams. He also brings with him strong relationships which he has forged with customers and partners throughout Asia Pacific and Japan," said Christian Hentschel, senior vice president, Asia Pacific and Japan.

"We are confident that Mohan will provide our customers and partners with innovative business solutions that integrate F5’s agile architecture with market leading applications from our key alliance partners such as Microsoft, Oracle and VMware," he added.

Mr Veloo previously held various managerial positions at Oracle, most recently as head of the APJ communications/telecom industry sales consulting team.

He holds a BSc in Information Systems from Indiana University.
