Commerce systems provider hybris has appointed Graham Jackson as managing director of its Australian operation.

"We are delighted to welcome Graham Jackson to the role of managing director Australia," said hybris CEO Ariel Lüedi. "Graham brings over 15 years experience in IT and ecommerce and has an impressive track record of establishing fast growth strategies for global companies."

Mr Jackson was most recently managing director, Australia and New Zealand at Bazaarvoice, and previously launched two successful IT businesses in Australia and set up operations for two others. He holds a BA (Hons) in Economics from the University of Kent.

hybris provides multichannel systems, including managed and hosting services. Customers in Australia include Target and Lorna Jane.

The company's newly opened Australian head office is located at Darling Park, Sydney.
