Technology services provider Avanade has hired new leaders for two of its lines of business.

Josephine Poirrier is the first incumbent of the newly created role of APAC AX service line lead at Avanade.

"I am very pleased to welcome Josephine to this role." said Jeyan Jeevaratnam, Avanade country manager in Australia. "AX presents an exceptional growth opportunity for us as the product moves swiftly beyond the mid-market and the competitive landscape remains fragmented."

Ms Poirrier was most recently APAC lead for Lawson's global technology centre. She previously held several senior executive roles in software development, product management, consulting services and delivery support.

Lucia Gamarra has been appointed to the role of APAC CRM service line lead, and will take up the job next month.

"Lucia will be an instrumental part of the Avanade team as our business grows and accelerates its role as a driving force in technology innovation." said Mr Jeevaratnam. "We are very pleased and excited to have her on board in this time of strong growth across APAC."

Ms Gamarra spent the last six years of her career with Fujitsu Australia as national director of Microsoft Dynamics. She previously served as practice manager at Acumen Business Solutions (now Oakton).
